How it works

Choose your template for your required reporting from: PRS, Rapidcue or SESAC

To create your headers, input the information about your programme e.g. Programme title, Producer, Director etc.

Upload your EDL file, either by single file or multiple files. You can also choose to enter tracks manually or search for them using track title, a composer or album code.

Your Cue Sheet will automatically generate and populate all information, including copyright information, time in/out, track duration etc. You can also edit and add information if required.

- What File Formats Work With Automatic Cue Sheet?

AutoCueSheet reads flat text files known as EDL (edit decision list) that can be exported from systems such as Pro Tools, Avid, Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro to the CMX 3600 edl format settings or similar.
eg A post production facility such as Edit Store (www.editstore.tv) can export an edl from Pro Tools that is accepted by AutoCueSheet - What File Formats Can I Export My Cue Sheet To?

- I’ve renamed the tracks from their original file names, what do I do?

If a filename isn’t recognised by AutoCueSheet then an option will appear to search our vast library of commercial and production library tracks from which you can source the required information. For more information visit www.ilikemusic.com
- I’ve Uploaded My EDL file, but some of the tracks aren’t recognised?

The information regarding the time in/out and duration are retained from the EDL file, and the song search function will bring up a search engine of our library. If you have a bespoke recording that is not a commercially registered track, you can fill in the details manually, directly onto the form, after export.
- Where can I get broadcast quality WAV files from?

- Does this have all the information that my client will need?

We obtain all the relevant information for recordings from the record labels, PRS, and production music publishers and labels which are used to report back to the Rights Organisations.
- I don’t have an EDL or XML file, how can I generate an Automatic Cue Sheet with all the copyright information in?

By clicking New Cuesheet, you can build a cue sheet from scratch by searching for tracks in our library, enter the relevant production information and export to any of the supplied templates, where you can then manually enter the necessary time stamp information.
- I’ve got lots of cue sheets to do, can I upload them all at once?

You can drag and drop several files into the upload panel, and once uploaded they will appear in the My Cuesheets panel from where you can individually open or export.
